Yesterday morning, Dan Haas found the Eared Grebe at the Mill Creek boat launch where I found the bird on Wednesday.?  Yesterday evening, we failed to find the Eared, but that was not surprising given the windy conditions.? We did find 20 Horned Grebes, so the numbers are continuing to increase.?? 

Dave Powell just called me and said he just located the Eared Grebe in the more open water at the mouth of Mill Creek.? You can view this area by walking up the hill from the boat launch behind the old buildings.? There is a sign for Possum Point and the viewing is pretty good from this bluff.? I saw a Northern Gannet from here last night.?
