Nico strikes again. These are very nice shots from several good angles of a
very well-colored male.

Hey everyone-

At around 3:15 today I headed down to Island Point Rd. in Back River
in hopes of seeing the Little Gull found there earlier in the week, but did
not have any luck. However, I was only there for about 25 minutes, and I'm
not an expert on discerning between the similar gull species, so for all I
know it could have been there.
Next, I headed to Patterson Park to photograph the male Wood Duck
that has been at the Boat Lake, and I was able to come away with some great
shots.
Speaking of which, for some reason my computer was having a bit of
trouble with sending photos into the online center where some people had
specified that they wanted their prints made from, but now everything is
working fine, so if you want to order a print, just let me know.

During a half-hour stay at Patterson Park:
Wood Duck 1
Mallard 34
Red Winged Blackbird 1
Song Sparrow 3
American Coot 1
Ring Billed Gull 13
American Robin 3

Photos of the Wood Duck are up at:

Enjoy!
