This morning (Mar 21), I saw the following species at the lower end of
Centennial Lake in Howard County. There were several small groups of
Bufflehead, a flock of Ring-necked Ducks and one drake Red-breasted
Merganser riding on the choppy waters. One Osprey flew overhead. There was
a mixed group of birds sheltering from the wind near the south area boat ramp.
Their number included a male Eastern Bluebird, a flock of robins, a male Yellow-
bellied Sapsucker, one Yellow-rumped Warbler and many Dark-eyed Juncos.
One of the juncos chased a robin for a short distance through the trees.
