With all the migrant waterfowl reported elsewhere, their numbers at
their major wintering area on Piscataway creek is dwindling. This
morning, March 22, I found only twelve species of ducks and geese, and
no swans. Of interest was a female Goldeneye, the continuing adult
Red-headed Woodpecker and personal high counts for this area of Horned
Grebes (43) and Bonaparte's Gulls (91).
