Weather: Sunny; 38-54 degrees; excellent visibility; winds not as strong as
yesterday, but still brisk, 13-18 mph, gusting to 32 mph, mostly out of the WNW.
Raptor Observations:
Continued good flight today with an increased showing of Ospreys,
Red-tailed Hawks and Sharp-shinned Hawks.
Non-raptor Observations:
Probably a thousand Tree Swallows today; two Barn Swallows

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
