I strolled around Burba Lake at Ft Meade this afternoon afternoon to see
what was left after a mass waterfowl exodus last week. The entire area was
teeming with flocks of Co. Grackles, Starlings, Fish and American Crows. I
finally got the opportunity to photograph a Pied-billed Grebe (link in sig),
but aside from that there were no surprises. Nice to see some signs of
spring, I'm looking forward to May count!
Good birding-
