We had a very strange-looking bird - I believe an American Golfinch - show up at our feeder this morning. It looks to me as if the bird may be ill or something. It has puffy pink areas around the eyes, and aberrant plumage. I noticed it didn't react to my presence by immediately flying off as other feeder birds usually do, as if its vision were impaired.
