This afternoon at 2:30, a large brown raptor with white rump was flying on
the north side of Rt. #32 at Broken Land Parkway, headed west. It was low,
at treetop level, long wingspan. It took me a while before all that
processed in my brain, but I finally realized it could only have beena
harrier. It was not accipter like, and rather too big any way. I did not
note any dihedral or rocking motion, but, then, it was 30 or so feet up.
