Went on a late day walk from my house in Hopewell to Lake Elkhorn and back. 
It was a good day for Swamp Sparrows (5 around the upper end of Lake 
Elkhorn), Pied-billed Grebes (10) and Eastern Phoebes (6). Also saw a Brown 
Creeper, 3 Eastern Bluebirds, 2 Rough-winged Swallows and heard a Fox 
Sparrow singing at dusk.
