The highlight of my morning was 3 Surf Scoters (2 m, 1 f) at Piney Run Park in 
Carroll County.   They were in the center part of the lake, across from the 
rental office / gazebo area.

On the drive up, I saw the following birds in Howard County:

Marriottsville Rd, south of Henryton:

4 American Wigeon

Folly Quarter Rd:

1 Northern Pintail (male)
6 Green-winged Teal
2 Wood Ducks
4 American Black Ducks
1 Northern Harrier (adult male)
25 Wilson's Snipe
1 Horned Lark
1 Eastern Meadowlark
