That Black-crowned Night Heron reported at Riley's lock was still hanging around on Saturday 5 April.  After crossing the bridge mentally note the distance from the wooden bridge to the first mile marker.  Travel half again as far past the mile marker and start scanning the trees over the open water side.  It was sighted twice perched on different limbs over the water about 10 feet over the ground (water).
