A hen and very young chicks were at Violette's Lock this morning. Picture at:

The past few years the chicks I have seen here have all been in late May or 
June.
 
10 Bonaparte's Gulls passed through. A  Long-tailed Duck and a few Common 
Loons, Horned Grebes, Gadwalls also present.
