Dear MD Osprey Friends,

 

This year, the Beltway Kingfishers team (comprised of three fellow MD
Ospreys Dan Lebbin, my Dad Keith, and myself) will again compete in the
World Series of Birding in the Cape May Island category. 

 

We are raising money for an important group, the American Birding
Conservancy. As most of you know ABC does a lot of great conservation work
from domestic habitat to international programs (www.abcbirds.org
<http://www.abcbirds.org/> ). 

 

You can help by donating a set amount or pledging an amount per bird. Last
year we recorded 136 species and this year our goal is 145. ABC has set up a
web page (https://www.abcbirds.org/membership/beltway_kingfishers.cfm) to
make it easier to donate. Or you can mail a check to me (please email me
off-list for my mailing address). All money raised goes directly to the
general ABC fund.

 

I want to thank you for considering helping this important cause. I also
want to thank those of you who have supported my teams in the past.
