Someone asked about weather information at BWI and in answering her, I 
realized that there is a weather tool available online that birders (and 
non-birders for that matter) may find useful. The best part of this resource 
is that it also provides access to instant weather information via your cell 
phone 24-hours a day. Getting ready to head out and want to know what the 
weather is in Hagerstown or Ocean City? You can access the link via the 
computer or via cell phone and you have real time weather information 
instantaneously. This can be especially useful in the field when you don't 
have internet access. The site also reports a 24 hour summary of its 
observations. Click on the link and from there you'll get a list of the 16 
Automated Surface Observation Stations (ASOS) throughout the state.
