Mark Scarff reported a good hawk flight today from his house in Manchester, Carroll 
County, including the first significant Broad-winged movement locally this season. He began 
counting at 11:00 am and ended at 5:30 pm.

Broad-wings - 69
Red-tails - 8
Red-shouldered - 3
Merlin - 4
Kestrel - 29
N. Harrier - 6
Osprey - 9
Sharp-shinned - 37
Coopers - 14

He also saw 36 Loons and 7 Cormorants flying north.
