This morning at Cylburn Arboretum (Baltimore City) Mark Linardi and I
had 3 first-of-year species -- at least FOY for me:
Barn Swallow - 1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 2 (finally!)
Palm Warbler (yellow) - 1

Also:
Chipping Sparrows - galore! - 10-20
E Phoebe - just 1 for me, suggesting the big wave has already passed
Pileated Woodpecker - 1 at the big tree in front of the mansion later
flying into the woods.

The weather felt almost hot! The flowers and especially the flowering
trees were pretty wonderful. It should be nice for the Baltimore Bird
Club walk tomorrow at 8:30 which I'll have to miss.
