Weather: Mostly cloudy with periods of brief showers; 62-74 degrees; visibility
good; winds variable in the morning turning northwesterly in the afternoon, 0-10 mph.
Raptor Observations: A busy morning that abruptly stopped as showers from the advancing
cold front south of us shut down our flight. Neglected to say that one of the
Bald Eagles from yeaterday was a juvenile, likely a Florida-born bird.
Non-raptor Observations: 31 Common Loons, 4 Red-throated Loons, 30 Horned Grebes, 1 Monarch butterfly

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
