Hi all,
 I was just out on my deck making a business call when I watched 2  kettles 
of Broad-winged Hawks fly over. The first was 10 birds which flew low  enough 
over my house that I was able to see the barred tails with my naked eye,  and 
the second (also about 10 birds, though I couldn't get an exact count  as I was 
engaged on the phone)flew over the back yard a bit higher, heading NE.  Then 
a Great Blue Heron flew across and circled a bit before flying off. This  was 
shortly after 10 AM.
 
Love the deck for birding!
