I spent a lovely day birding at Patapsco Valley State Park (Marriottsville, McKeldin and Henryton), Middle Patuxent Environmental Area and Sewells Orchard Ponds and surrounding paths.

FOY birds for me included singing HOUSE WRENS at all areas, WHITE-EYED VIREOS (MPEA and SOP), and NORTHERN PARULAS (Marriottsville PSVP). PALM WARBLERS seemed to be in abundance in all areas of PSVP.

I got a couple of photos of a WE VIREO in the woods on the Columbia bike paths near Sewells Orchard and can really see where he gets his name.

Also, I watched this Carolina Chickadee dine on a juicy caterpillar (secured in his right foot)! I guess spring is truly here! :-)
