At the home of friends of ours in Easton the emergence of three fledgling
Killdeer was celebrated during mid-morning on April 16th.  Excellent still
photos and a video camera recorded those first few steps of the three.  A
fourth egg was present.  Parents attended it for a few hours, but then the
family group went elsewhere.
