Weather: Sunny; 56-84 degrees; good visibility; winds light and variable
Raptor Observations: Nice but brief run of sharp-shinneds in the morning
Non-raptor Observations: About 500 migrant American Goldfinches and 330 Blue Jays; 47 Common Loons; 4 baby Killdeers survived the jump from the ladies room roof where the nest was located; about 80 gulls hanging around the past two days.

Site Description:
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
