An hour ago, I saw a flock of Glossy Ibis (8 or 9, I didn't count) flying due
west, directly over the Silver Spring Metro station!

This week I also saw one at my house (Croom, PG County) on Tuesday eve, a
fly-by single as it came to the river and landed at Jug Bay. Also Tuesday
(Earth Day!), we had fireflies flying around in the evening.

Yesterday was a bonanza of new arrivals seen/heard at our house. FOY birds
included Wild Turkey (single hen), Eastern Kingbird (1), Yellow-throated Vireo
(1), Northern Parula (1), Prothonotary Warbler (3, all singing at same time!),
Northern Waterthrush (1), Orchard Oriole (1), Grasshopper Sparrow (1). I also
saw a FOY Buckeye butterfly.

Enjoy the day-
