Hi all --

Barry and I took the dogs for a walk in Wheaton Regional Park in mid-morning. We did the old Camping Area loop trail, which is least disturbed by walkers. There were some interesting migrants around despite the less-than-favorable weather conditions in the past few days.

White-eyed Vireo - FOY, 1 singing
Ovenbird -- FOY, 6 singing all along the loop
Louisiana Waterthrush - 1, singing
Yellow-rumped (Myrtle) Warbler -- 20 or so
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher -- 8
Eastern Towhee -- 12 at least

Also a few lingering White-throated Sparrows, as well as vocal Flickers (4-5 calling), Red-bellied Woodpeckers, Titmice, Chickadees etc. etc. There seemed to be far fewer Robins about than last week.
