I took an afternoon jaunt over to the PG County line and got my first
Prairie Warbler of the year.  I met two very nice birders (I am really
bad with names, but they were very nice).  They told me about a
Red-eyed Vireo and a Ruby-throated Hummingbird (both birds I missed
seeing or hearing).  And they warned me about two gentlemen enjoying
themselves over the by Eastern Towhees.  I decided to head off to the
lake and thankfully, I dipped on them as well.  Be careful when your
out in the field... you never know what you might find.

On the way home (via the back roads) I stopped in to Waterworks for a
quick look around the parking area.  Two Northern Rough Winged
Swallows looked as if they were setting up a nest in the fenced off
area on the hillside where the impoundments are located.   An Eastern
Kingbird was enjoying some dinner as well.  But the best bird of the
afternoon was an ORCHARD ORIOLE singing in the tree just above the
parking lot.
