I stepped outside at 7:00 am this morning and was greeted with many happy
birds .... 2 Baltimore Orioles singing, Towhee, Turkeys gobbling in the
distance, Orchard Oriole, House Wren, Tufted Titmouse, Robins, etc. What a
great song to uplift the spirits. And then I looked at my car involved in
an accident last evening (no one hurt!). The birds made me forget about it
for a while. Anyone have any plans to convert a 1999 Neon into a bird
feeder? How about a nesting box? Shouldn't be too hard since the rear
widow is blown out. I bet I could cut off the roof, fill it with dirt and
plant some sunflowers, salvia, sage, some zinnias, joe pye weed ... lovely!
Maybe enter it into the county fair in the potted plants section.
Ahhh, but I digress from birds. sorry.

The Baltimore Orioles came in last night. The Orchard Orioles have been
here for 5 days. Time to hang out the ribbon, yarn and horsehair form the
mane and tail. The birds really love the horsehair.
Enjoy.
