I swung by North Beach Marsh this morning en route to meet my carpool in Friendship. When I first looked over the marsh, I was stunned to find 3 Black-necked Stilts! That's a county bird for me. Nice way to start the day. Below is my eBird list for the marsh. The two Dunlin were also a real treat. Thanks, Jim, for posting in case anyone can get down there before things change over. The marsh was in ideal form for shorebirds. The marsh in North Beach near the pink monstrosity was very flooded as the flood gate was wide open.
