I checked out Little Falls Branch Park in Bethesda for about an hour
this morning, 4/26. More ball players, cyclists, and joggers than
birds, especially on the Capital Crescent Trail, which was a
zoo. Only warbler I came across was a singing COMMON YELLOWTHROAT.

I was happy to note that GRAY CATBIRDS are back -- I had three but
there'll be lots more by this time next week -- and I saw a male
BALTIMORE ORIOLE fly over about 8:45 a.m.

This area will likely be better for birds in a few days when the
impending weather front grounds some migrants.

Good Birding
