    Took a short trip to Lake Needwood in Rockville this morning. The water level was much higher after the previous rains. Many birds singing.  Here's the rundown:
  Best birds: Prairie Warblers & White eyed Vireo
   
  10-12pm
  Prairie Warbler 2
  White eyed Vireo 1
  Rufous sided Towhee 2
  Chipping Sparrows 2
  Yellow rumped Warbler  2
  Parula Warbler 3
  American Goldfinches   6+
  Black Vulture 3
  Turkey Vulture 4
  Accip. sp 2
  Belted Kingfisher 2 (male & female)
  Mallards   6
