Just before visiting the Naval Academy Primary School this afternoon,
I noticed two exceptionally sleek, thoroughly speedy raptors darting
about in the skies above the school. The school is, by the way,
situated on the famous Greenbury Point in Annapolis.

There were two PEREGRINE FALCONS having a noon-time cruise the
partly-cloudy, mostly-sunny skies of Annapolis. I was hoping to see
one or both perform an extended stoop, or perhaps get busy with some
of their famous hunting techniques. There performed loads of
acrobatics, complete with speedy dives and tight banks, but no lead
balloon-like plummeting for prey while I was watching.

The Blue Angels should have been taking notes.

I do wondering... were these two the Bay Bridge Peregrine Falcons or
the Severn River falcons?

Good Birding,
