A Pine Siskin made a brief visit to the home bird feeders early this morning
(May 5) in Columbia. Later at Western Regional Park, I saw two Nashville
Warblers, two Northern Parulas, a Black-throated Blue Warbler, five Yellow-
rumped Warblers, two American Redstarts (adult and young male), two
Ovenbirds and a Common Yellowthroat. Two Scarlet Tanagers and a Baltimore
Oriole also were present. Other songbird migrants I found today were a Veery
and a female Rose-breasted Grosbeak at Savage Park.
