Hi all. Spring birding is so much fun right now. Friday on the way home, I was able to get the attention of a Yellow-breasted Chat and an Orchard Oriole. On Saturday Parke had his field trip to Elk Neck State Forest. That was a fun morning as well. We saw allot of good local Warblers including Hooded and Black and White.
Sunday I awoke to a first time White-crowned Sparrow in my feeder. I have had them in migration in the fall in my back yard, but not at my feeder. This guy was so handsome! I don't remember seeing such a beautiful Sparrow before.
Here are some Photographs from the weekend. It starts with Hooded Warbler and ends with the Cattle Egret.
