Hi Everyone,

The Rt 50 Borrow Pit in Wicomico County held an assortment of shorebirds and a single Glossy Ibis this evening at ca. 6:00:

Glossy Ibis--1
Semipalmated Plover--3
Killdeer--2
Greater Yellowlegs--8
Lesser Yellowlegs--15
Solitary Sandpiper--4
Least Sandpiper--35
Semipalmated Sandpiper--4

The peep numbers are probably low; many peeps were partially hidden by vegetation, so there may have been others that were completely hidden.

I did not see the Short-billed Dowitcher that Jim Brighton found on Saturday, but fortunately Carol and I saw that bird on Saturday thanks to Jim.
