Hi all,
   
  Myself  and Cecily Nabors birded Rachel Carson Park this morning for about 2 hrs.  Not much moving, but some interesting birds:
  (watch for ticks, they are getting plentiful)
   
  4-5 Ovenbirds
  2 Bluebirds
  Tree Swallows (swallows)
  2 Brown headed Cowbirds
  1 Common Crow
  1-2 White thrt Sparrows
  Bluejays (many)
  3 Scarlet Tanagers
  Bluegray gnatcatchers -several
  1 Indigo Bunting
  5-7 Yellow rumped Warblers
  1-2 Parula Warblers
  1 Yellow Warbler
  1 Gray Catbird
  1 Black thr. Blue Warbler (heard singing)
  1 Louisanna Waterthrush
  2 Wood Thrush
  1 Towhee
  1 Buteo sp. (probably Redtail, was heard)
  2 Red shouldered hawks
  1 Carolina Wren
  1-2 House Wrens
  2 Turkey Vultures
  Chickadees, Titmice, Cardinals, Downys, Red bellied WP etc.
