Sunday / Ft. Howard & Swan Harbor Farm Park

I got in at 1AM Sunday morning from Saturday's wedding that the band
and I played in DC.  Our 4 month old son Declan decided to wake at
4:30 AM (a rarity, thankfully).  So, after I made sure he was happy
and taken care of,  I decided to go birding.  I travelled all through
out the wooded sections on the Annapolis peninsula and up into
Crownsville listen for any night creatures.  I heard what I thought
was a scream... it was rather loud squeal with a
'not-of-this-earth-like' quality.  I can give exact location if anyone
would care to do further research.

Sadly, there were no whips to be heard... only a few Mockingbirds,
some Robins and two Wood Thrush.  According to plan, I drove to Fort
Howard to see what was left from Ed Boyd's trip on Saturday.  It was a
great morning, followed with a wonderful afternoon.  Here are the
highlights:

low over the mouth of the river from Sue's HawkWatch at Ft. Smallwood)
