Paul (and others) --

Barry is emphatic that the Franklin's being seen now is not the same one that you found (and he saw) on 5/3. That one had a faint pink blush on the breast and was in better plumage than the current one, which has a white breast and also, seems to be missing some flight feathers -- which Mike Bowen told us he had also noticed on the current bird. Several of us talked about the bird at Rock Creek this morning and the consensus seemed to be -- an adult but not as far into breeding condition as the earlier bird. Timing of this can apparently be variable, as it is with Bonies.

When will the next one show up?
