Nancy and I were joined by Kevin Graff this morning for birding along the
C&O Canal, Antietam Battlefield, Boonsboro WWTP, and Monroe Road.

The Dickcissel has returned to last year's location at Antietam on
Hagerstown Pike, just before the turn onto Mansfield Ave.

We also had a Black-billed Cuckoo along the Final Attack trail near stop
#10. Yellow-billed Cuckoos were numerous at many locations.

At Boonsboro WWTP we had a Horned Grebe.

Many Grasshopper Sparrows were observed at Antietam, including one singing
the warbling song. A female Blue Grosbeak was seen near the area where a
pair had been observed last week, but the Vesper Sparrow, also seen last
week, was not relocated.

Altogether I had a total of 68 species. I assume that Kevin will post the
complete list along with numbers, and that he will include a couple of
additional species that were not seen by me.
