Hi all,
This morning I went to Aspen Hill Rec Area in Rockville to see if the male Cerulean I reported last week was still there. He was. The Cerulean has moved a little farther up the hiker-trail, just past Marcia Drive park entrance. (There is a wooden bridge going over Rock Creek on the left side. ) On the main path, about
80 yards on left, he was singing vigorously while foraging among the leaves.(Sycamore tree) He was there when I left at 11:45am.
Other birds seen & heard:

Yellow throated Vireo 1
Red eyed Vireo (abundant)
Acadian Flycatcher 4
Scarlet Tanager 1
Great crested Flycatcher 4
Blackpoll Warbler 1
Common Yellowthroat 1
Louisanna Waterthrush 1
Blue gray gnatcatchers 3
Wood Peewee 1
Rose breasted Grosbeak 1 (heard)
Red shouldered Hawks 2
Mallards 3
Wood Duck 1
Gray Catbirds 4
Pileated Woodpecker 1
Northern Flicker 1

Good Birding,
D.Ford/Bethesda, Md.
