Hi all --

Back on line after being cast into the outer darkness by the
not-so-Comcastic folks...

Had a late morning appointment so stuck closer to home and did Layhill Park,
Montgomery Co., this morning. Not many migrants but the local breeders were
out and about. This is really a great place, too bad half of it will be
sacrificed to the ICC...

Warblers:

Blackpoll - 5
Canada - 2
KENTUCKY - 1, singing in spot where they bred in 1980s BBA, but not in past
decade. Keeping fingers crossed...
Redstart - 1
Yellow - 6
Yellowthroat - 6-7
Unfortunately, no sign of the usual Chats yet this year...

Others (most are local breeders):
Green Heron - 1 (breeds in pond)
Willow Flycatcher - 1-2
Acadian FC - 2
Empid sp. - "Traill's" type, silent
Great Crested FC - 3
Eastern Kingbird - 1
Baltimore Oriole - 6
Orchard Oriole - 4
White-eyed Vireo - 2
Red-eyed Vireo - 3
Yellow-throated Vireo - 1
Warbling Vireo - 1
Brown Thrasher - 1
Swainson's Thrush - 4

Plus the usual...
