Antietam National Battlefield, 5/31/2008

Drove up to Antietam to see the Dickcissel for my year list, and managed to do 
some birding between the thundershowers. Lots of wet birds and foggy 
binoculars created some interesting ID challenges along the way, but had a 
decent couple of hours. The DICKCISSEL was present at the Hagerstown Pike-
Mansfield Road intersection, singing away on a telephone pole. Very good looks 
at him. Also had some nice looks at the GRASSSHOPPER SPARROWS, and a 
couple of VESPER SPARROWS along the Cornfield Trail. Here's the list:
