Hello all.

Birded Lake Shore Athletic Complex this morning. This facility has dozens of 
acres of scrub and meadow as well as a few decent spots of forest.  A few 
good birds and one surprise.  

Also had 2 Cattle Egrets overfly my car on Fort Smallwood Road near Compass 
Pointe Golf Course.

Black Vulture: 2
Red-shouldered Hawk: 1 adult
Ruby-throated Hummingbird: 1
Cedar Waxwing: 11
Gray Catbird: 4
Brown Thrasher: 4  
Wood Thrush: 1
Eastern Kingbird: 2
Empid sp.: 1
Yellow-billed Cuckoo: 3  heard in 2 different territories
White-eyed Vireo: 4
Red-eyed Vireo: 1
Black-and-white Warbler: 1
Prairie Warbler: 3  on territories near soccer fields
Pine Warbler: 1 male in the small pine barrens
Common Yellowthroat: 2
American Redstart: 1 male
HOODED WARBLER: 1  male foraging off of horse trail, unexpected
Ovenbird: 1  singing from neighboring property
Yellow-breasted Chat: 2  with one male singing from a treetop
Eastern Towhee: 7 
Chipping Sparrow: 8  hedges and young trees by the ball fields
Scarlet Tanager: 2
Indigo Bunting: 4
Blue Grosbeak: 2
Orchard Oriole: 2
