Hi all,

Just thought some may want to know that last evening around 7:00 
PM I was over at Oxbow Lake Nature Preserve with a few friends and 
we spotted an American Woodcock directly across the street from 
where you park to enter the Preserve. The bird was within 10 feet from 
the path on the other side of the road in the woods between the 
street and I guess the apartments. Technically it was not in the 
Preserve but rather right outside of it. It seemed pretty content where 
it was and not in a big rush to leave so it may still be around.
