I started the morning at the north end of Liberty Lake near Glen Falls, then visited Cranberry Reservoir, New Windsor, and nearby back roads. Notable birds:

Canada Goose  20, Cranberry Res.
Wood Duck  11, Liberty Lake, mostly young
Common Loon  1 immature, Cranberry Res., the third I have seen in Carroll this summer
Great Blue Heron  3, one each at Liberty Lake, Cranberry Res., & New Windsor
Great Egret  1, Liberty Lake, post-breeding dispersal
Green Heron  1, New Windsor
Kestrel  1, Winters Church Road
Killdeer  3, New Windsor
Spotted Sandpiper  1 adult, New Windsor, probably an early fall migrant
Parula  3, heard only, two Liberty Lake (Baltimore & Carroll), one Sams Creek Road
