Update: This afternoon (2:30-3PM) I found no CATTLE EGRETS at the
location Marcy wrote about earlier, but I did manage to successfully
locate one CATTLE EGRET from the parking lot of the Horizon Dairy Farm
across Route 301. It flew North towards Rt. 32. On my return trip
home, I drove down S. Cecil (which is where another cow farm is
located (backs up the original location where the Cattle Egrets were
found). No luck finding any there, but for those looking... it might
be a good spot to check out. Nearby was an enormous Red-Tailed Hawk,
which I never tire of viewing up-close.

Finally, before putting away my bins, I stopped by to check out the
PEREGRINE FALCONS on the Severn River. I quickly spotted the female
perched. Soon after, the male bolted in with what looked to be a late
lunch/early dinner. The meal did not look as if it was for them.
Hopefully there is another mouth to feed. I'll keep you posted.

Good Birding,
