Janet,
   The earliest presumed migrant Black-&-white Warbler in the database is one banded in Caroline County on July 17, 1987. The earliest I have listed for Montgomery County is July 28, 1981. Probably most of these early migrants go through undetected because no one is looking for them or if they are seen are not recognized as migrants at that time.
