The two immature Little Blue Herons were still present around noon 
today at the extreme eastern (shallow) end of the lake, near the 
Longdraft Road bridge.  A very nice county bird - well worth the 
overheated hike to find them!  (A suggestion:  park as close as 
you can to the Fawn picnic pavilion, in the Deer Ridge section of 
the park, and walk down to the lake shore trail from there.)
