My wife had a doctor's appt. in Annapolis last week and the doctor was in a 
chatty mood.  He was telling her that he has a Cooper's hawk nesting in his 
yard just outside of Annapolis.  The yound have fledged and he has pictures 
of them sitting on the railing of his deck and on top of the umbrella above 
his outdoor table.

just a quick post.
i have been out of town and apon my arrival my brother told me that he 
thought there was a cooper's hawk in a friends yard. he had been observing 
it for several days now and was quite sure. he, being a fairly new to the 
hobby, sparked an incredulous response from me. turns out, to the best of my 
knowledge, he was right on. in the devlopments on defief road inhabits 
several cooper's hawks in someone's backyard. i  stand more humbly than 
yesterday.
