Hi Folks,

I don't know the last time that this bird was reported, but late this
morning (7/26) the singing DICKCISSEL was in the same yard where Elaine and
I saw it last year; in fact it was in the same tree. The location is the
north end of Dunker Church Rd., in the yard on the west side of the road,
wedged between that road and Hwy 65, just north of the Antietam visitor
center, and southeast of Hagerstown. There were also a dozen CLIFF SWALLOWs
at the Burnside Bridge, where they are obviously nesting again this year.

Also, when I posted about kayaking the Elk River last Monday (7/21), I
forgot to mention that at the community park in Northeast there were two
SNOW GEESE, which are over-summering. Our group saw one of them on 31 May
while doing the Cecil Co. lister's trip during the MOS conference.
