The number of tern species in DC doubled in less than a day - from 1 to
2.  During lunch today I walked down to the shore of the Anacostia River
(by the Navy Yard & Nats stadium).  Out on the river, sitting on a buoy
was a Forster's Tern.  My first for the fall for this species too (see
earlier note about a Caspian Tern seen this morning).  Now if I'm really
lucky I'll see a third species on my way home from work...
