In addition, I took a trip to the Daniel's area yesterday afternoon
hoping to see the WHITE IBIS.  Alas, the sandbar where the bird was
reported to have spotted, was empty.  Nice place to hike however.  The
bird that I did enjoy the most on my hike was a YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO
that stayed perched very close to the trail.  What can I say, I'm easy
to please.
