For anyone in the Laurel region interested in the plans to destroy/recreate
habitat at Laurel Park (the racetrack) here are a couple websites with
information. There will be a public meeting on Tue, Aug 12th. Maybe with
some public input some of that recreated habitat could be bird-friendly and
give birders another reason to go to the track!
